These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of humecare.org and the HumeCare+ telehealth weight loss service (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Hume Health Corp. By using the Services, completing an assessment, or subscribing to HumeCare+, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and located in the United States to use HumeCare+. The Services are not available outside the US. Eligibility for prescription medication is determined solely by a licensed HumeCare+ physician based on your health assessment — eligibility to use the website does not guarantee eligibility for treatment.

2. Nature Of The Service — Telehealth Disclaimer

HumeCare+ provides a telehealth-based medical service. The prescribing physicians on the platform are licensed US practitioners who practice medicine through the platform as independent medical professionals, not as employees of Hume Health Corp. The physician-patient relationship is between you and your prescribing physician. Hume Health Corp facilitates the technology and logistics but does not itself practice medicine.

HumeCare+ is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

3. Subscription And Billing

HumeCare+ is offered as a recurring subscription. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect. You may cancel at any time through the Hume Health app or by emailing support@humecare.com — see our Refund & Guarantee page for full cancellation terms.

4. Medical Information And Accuracy

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information during your assessment and throughout your treatment. Providing false or misleading medical information may result in inappropriate treatment and the termination of your subscription without refund. You must promptly notify your HumeCare+ physician of any changes to your health status or medications during the program.

5. The Money-Back Guarantee

The 10% body weight loss guarantee is subject to full terms described on our Guarantee & Refunds page, which is incorporated into these Terms. The guarantee applies to eligible patients who complete 6 months of the protocol as directed.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including but not limited to: providing false health information, sharing your prescription medication with others, using the platform for any unlawful purpose, or attempting to circumvent any security or access controls on the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

"HumeCare+," "Hume Care," and "Hume Health" are trademarks of Hume Health Corp. All content on humecare.org — text, images, protocol designs, and technology — is proprietary. Reproduction without express written permission is prohibited.

8. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hume Health Corp's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. Hume Health Corp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
